Terms of Use

Last updated: 22 September 2026

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the SoliHoli website, accounts, features, and services.

By using SoliHoli, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree to the Terms, you must not use the platform.

1. About SoliHoli

SoliHoli is an online services platform that connects users looking for services with independent service providers and businesses in Northern Cyprus.

Unless expressly stated otherwise, SoliHoli does not itself provide the services listed on the platform and is not the employer, employee, representative, partner, or agent of service providers.

The scope, price, time, location, payment method, and other terms of a service may be agreed directly between the user and the service provider.

2. Account Creation and User Responsibility

You may need to create an account to use certain SoliHoli features.

When creating an account, you agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information and to update it when necessary.

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and sign-in details and for activities carried out through your account. If you believe your account has been used without authorisation, you should contact SoliHoli.

3. Service Provider Profiles

Service providers may publish in their profiles the services they offer, prices, service areas, experience, working hours, contact details, photographs, examples of work, certificates, awards, and other professional information.

The service provider is responsible for ensuring that information in their profile and service listings is accurate, current, and not misleading.

Where an activity requires licences, permits, registrations, professional qualifications, insurance, or other legal requirements, meeting those requirements is entirely the service provider’s responsibility.

SoliHoli may request verification of certain information or documents where necessary. However, publication of a profile on the platform does not mean that SoliHoli guarantees all statements, qualifications, or the quality of services of the provider.

4. Relationship Between Users and Service Providers

SoliHoli’s primary function is to make it easier for users to discover and communicate with service providers.

The user is responsible for deciding whether to work with a service provider, and the service provider is responsible for deciding which work to accept.

Agreements between the parties, quotations, the scope and price of services, payment terms, appointments, cancellations, and performance of the service are principally matters between the user and service provider.

SoliHoli is not a party to the service contract between those parties.

5. Prices and Service Information

Service prices displayed on the platform may be set by service providers and shown as a fixed price, starting price, hourly rate, or estimated price.

The final price and scope of the service may be agreed separately between the service provider and user.

Service providers are responsible for the accuracy of prices and other service information.

6. SoliHoli Paid Features and Payments

Alongside free features, SoliHoli may in future offer paid membership, subscriptions, profile promotion, advertising, publicity, or other paid features.

Before a paid SoliHoli service is purchased, the applicable price, payment period, and important terms will be shown to the user.

Payments may be processed through third-party payment service providers, and those providers’ own terms and privacy policies may apply.

If recurring subscriptions are offered, renewal and cancellation terms will be communicated to the user at the time of purchase.

Refund or cancellation terms for paid features offered by SoliHoli are subject to the terms stated at the relevant purchase and applicable law.

Payments made by users seeking services to service providers are separate from paid platform features offered by SoliHoli. Unless SoliHoli expressly states that it facilitates a payment transaction, payments between users and service providers and related disputes are the parties’ own responsibility.

7. Reviews and Ratings

Users may leave ratings and reviews about their service experiences.

Reviews must be based on a genuine experience, be honest, and must not contain misleading, fake, threatening, harassing, unlawful content or content that infringes the rights of others.

Service providers are prohibited from creating fake reviews about their own services or asking others for misleading reviews.

SoliHoli may review, limit the visibility of, or remove reviews considered to violate these Terms.

8. User Content

You agree that you hold the necessary rights to use text, photographs, logos, examples of work, and other content you upload to SoliHoli.

You retain ownership of your content. However, by publishing content on the platform, you grant SoliHoli the right to use, host, display, and reproduce it to the extent necessary to operate, display, promote, and technically deliver the platform.

Content that infringes the intellectual property, privacy, or other rights of others may not be published.

9. Prohibited Uses

You may not use SoliHoli for unlawful activities, fraud, creating fake or misleading profiles, sending unsolicited messages, harassing or threatening others, spreading malicious software, attempting to circumvent platform security, accessing another person’s account without permission, or activities that disrupt the platform’s normal operation.

10. Profile and Content Moderation

To protect security, platform integrity, and user experience, SoliHoli may review accounts, profiles, services, reviews, or other content that is considered to violate these Terms or be unlawful.

Where necessary, content may be removed, its visibility limited, or an account temporarily or permanently restricted.

11. Third-Party Services

SoliHoli may contain links to or integrations with third-party services such as WhatsApp, Google, payment providers, social media platforms, and service providers’ own websites.

Use of third-party services may be governed by the relevant third party’s own terms and privacy policies. SoliHoli is not responsible for the content or activities of those independent third-party services.

12. Service Quality and Disputes

SoliHoli makes it easier to find service providers through the platform but does not guarantee the quality, outcome, safety, timely completion, or fitness for a particular purpose of services performed by independent service providers.

Before choosing a service provider, users should assess profile information, experience, reviews, prices, required professional qualifications, and other important information according to their needs.

If a dispute arises between a user and a service provider, the parties are expected first to try to resolve the matter directly. SoliHoli may facilitate communication where it considers appropriate but is under no obligation to resolve the dispute or make a decision on behalf of either party.

13. Platform Availability

We cannot guarantee that SoliHoli will operate uninterrupted or error-free. All or some platform features may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, security, technical issues, or reasons beyond our control.

We may improve or modify platform features or remove certain features where necessary.

14. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by applicable law, SoliHoli cannot be held liable for loss or damage arising from acts or omissions of independent service providers, agreements between users and service providers, payments made outside the platform, or third-party services.

Nothing in these Terms excludes any right or liability that cannot be limited or excluded under applicable law.

15. Account Closure

Users may request that their accounts be closed.

SoliHoli may restrict or close an account in cases such as serious or repeated breach of these Terms, fraud, security risk, or suspected unlawful activity.

Account closure does not remove the need to retain certain records for legal or legitimate purposes.

16. Privacy

Detailed information about how personal information is collected, used, and protected is provided in our Privacy Policy.

17. Changes to the Terms of Use

We may update these Terms as SoliHoli develops or legal requirements change.

The current version will be published on this page and the “Last updated” date will be changed. Users may be notified by appropriate means when material changes are made.

18. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable where SoliHoli operates, without prejudice to mandatory consumer rights and other mandatory legal rules.
