SoliHoli (“SoliHoli”, “we”, “us” or “our”) is an online services platform that connects people looking for services with service providers and businesses in Northern Cyprus.

We value your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect when you use the SoliHoli website and services, why and how we use it, with whom we may share it, and the choices available to you regarding your information.

1. Information We Collect

Depending on how you use SoliHoli, we may collect the following information:

Account information: First name, last name, email address, telephone number, sign-in and authentication information, and other information you provide when creating an account.

Service provider profile information: Business or service provider name, profile description, services offered, pricing information, service areas, languages spoken, working hours, contact details, photographs, examples of work, certificates, awards, and other information you choose to share on your profile.

User content: Reviews, ratings, service requests, recommendations, complaints, contact forms, and other content you submit through SoliHoli.

Communications information: Information you provide when contacting us by email, contact form, or other channels.

Technical and usage information: IP address, browser and device type, operating system, pages visited, referring pages, session and usage information, and analytics data about how the platform is used.

Payment and subscription information: When paid features, subscriptions, or other payments are offered, the transaction amount, payment status, subscription information, and records necessary for processing the payment may be handled. Payments may be processed by third-party payment service providers. SoliHoli does not store sensitive payment information, such as full card numbers or card security codes, that is processed directly by the payment provider.

2. How We Use Your Information

We may use your personal information to create and manage your account; create and publish service provider profiles; help users find suitable services and service providers; facilitate service requests and communications; operate the review and rating system; manage payments and subscriptions; produce analyses and statistics about platform use; maintain security and prevent misuse; provide user support; comply with legal obligations; and improve SoliHoli services.

3. Public Information

Information that service providers choose to publish on their profiles—such as their name or business name, services, descriptions, service areas, pricing information, photographs, examples of work, certificates, ratings, and reviews—may be publicly available and indexed by search engines.

Service providers should carefully choose the information they make public when creating a profile.

4. Google and Other Sign-In Services

If you choose to register for or sign in to SoliHoli using a third-party account such as Google, we may receive your name, email address, profile photograph, and other basic account information required for authentication from that provider. SoliHoli does not have access to your Google account password.

5. Payments

SoliHoli may offer paid memberships, subscriptions, promotional services, or other paid features in the future.

Payments may be processed through authorised third-party payment service providers. Those providers are subject to their own privacy policies and legal obligations regarding the processing of payment information.

SoliHoli may retain limited transaction information to verify payment status, manage subscriptions, meet accounting and legal obligations, and resolve payment issues when necessary.

6. Sharing Information

We do not sell your personal information.

We may share your information only to the extent necessary to operate the platform with hosting and infrastructure providers, authentication services, email services, analytics services, payment service providers, and other technical service providers that help the platform function.

We may also share information where required by law or where necessary to protect the rights, safety, and legitimate interests of SoliHoli, our users, or others.

7. Cookies and Analytics Technologies

SoliHoli may use cookies and similar technologies to enable the site to function, manage user sessions, remember preferences, measure performance, and understand how the platform is used.

More detailed information about the use of non-essential cookies and user preferences will be provided in our Cookie Policy.

8. Data Retention and Security

We retain personal information only for as long as necessary for the purposes for which it was collected, while your account remains active, or as required by legal, accounting, and security obligations.

We apply reasonable technical and organisational security measures to protect information against unauthorised access, alteration, disclosure, or loss. However, no internet-based system can guarantee absolute security.

9. Users’ Rights and Choices

Under applicable law, you may have the right to request information about your personal information, request access to it, ask for inaccurate or incomplete information to be corrected, request deletion of certain information, or object to or request restriction of certain data-processing activities.

For requests concerning your account or personal data, you may contact us at contact@soliholi.com. Certain information may need to be retained for a period of time for legal, security, or dispute-resolution purposes.

10. Third-Party Links and Communications

SoliHoli profiles and pages may contain links to WhatsApp, service providers’ websites, social media accounts, or other third-party services. SoliHoli is not responsible for the privacy practices of those services. When you use a third-party service, that service’s own privacy terms may apply.

11. Children’s Privacy

SoliHoli is a general-purpose services platform and is not designed for children. We do not intend to knowingly collect personal information from persons below the age required by applicable law. If you believe such information has been collected without appropriate authority, you may contact us.
